We’re an Architectural Design company specialising in carrying out all the required design work from the initial consultation on the phone, detailed survey, preparing of drawings, submitting the application, then once planning is approved carry out the detailed Building Regulation submission.

My aim is to make the whole process for you as easier as possible, we take all the strain away from you leaving all the applications and dealing with Local Authority down to us.

How we Work

Note: We deal totally on your behalf any process regarding the Local Authority Planning department, which at times can be a mine field!

Step 1:
Survey & Quote

We'll agree the fees involved for Planning permission application and carry out a detailed survey of your property to start the process for design

Step 2:
Drawings

I'll prepare preliminary draft design(s) for your approval prior to applying for Planning Permission

Step 3:
Application

I'll deal totally on your behalf with your Local Planning Authority, consisting of submission through the Planning Portal, answer any queries they have and informing you of their decisions throughout the process

My Services

Architectural Design

I have over 40 years experience dealing primarily in Planning Applications and approvals, then specialising in updating the drawings for Building Regulation Approval.

I will handle all the design drawings for you and manage the application(s), so you will only need to communicate with me throughout the process.

Planning Permission

I work closely with you to get the right project design work prior to submitting to Local Authority Approval.

I correspond with the Local Authority Planning portal on your behalf, all the submissions are carried out by Culbee Architectural Design team.

I will keep you fully updated throughout the process by the preferred option of email, text or phone, this process from registration of application to permission granted can take three months.

Building Regulations

I specialise in carrying out design drawing work for LABC building regulation approved drawings.

I strongly advise you instruct Culbee to carry out the design work for Building Regulation Approval, this safeguards you and ensures the project runs smoothly with as little on site problems as possible.

I also advise you do not go down the line of Building Notice, although it’s quicker as you only need to give the LABC three days notice before commencement, in the long term both the budget and project time could be severely impacted.
